With a dance step... we created a website for the Inessa dance studio

For our client, who is an award-winning dancer, trainer and choreographer, we created an unusual and interesting website that catches the eye and can be said to be a sign of its time. At Digital360, we love challenges and unobvious solutions, so whenever the industry/specification allows, we like to let our imagination run wild and design something unobvious that has the potential to become a new trend.

Customer

Our client is an experienced dancer, coach and choreographer, dancing since the age of 4. Multimedalist of national and international competitions, championship tournaments in various dance styles. She has over 20 years of experience as a coach and choreographer.

Inessa Studio Dance is a studio created with passion, which the owner wants to pass on to her clients and pupils. Her many years of experience allows her to combine professional work as a choreographer with the constant improvement of her qualifications.

We

Just as we thought at the beginning, the Inessa Studio Dance project allowed us to 'live it up' graphically! After an in-depth analysis of the market and the client's needs, and after much brainstorming, the first graphic design was created, which... was met with great enthusiasm by the client! Of course, we wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't want to improve things :) In the end, the winning design was a dark layout with orange and yellow gradients, which, combined with photos from a professional photo session, energises, inspires and... makes you want to dance.

Project assumptions

Aside from the image, the most important consideration, of course, was also the creation of a database of instructional and descriptive videos of each dance style, which users would be able to purchase as part of their subscriptions.

Technologically, adding a woocommerce module was obviously not a problem. It was much more difficult to design an interface that would be consistent with the established style, which I'm sure no one wanted to abandon, and that would be usable, intuitive and naturally - responsive.

We have managed to combine all of this, resulting in a modern website with increasing reach and increases in rankings every month. We took care of the technical part, taking into account the latest coding and optimisation standards, as well as an easy-to-use editor, thanks to which you can easily, and from any device, edit and update the entire website.
